Who wants to learn how to make tamales? Casa BruMar Foundation is hosting a virtual Mexican cooking class, taught by Executive Director Evelyn BruMar as a fundraiser. She will be teaching you how to cook achiote chicken tamales, her own personal recipe. The ingredient list will be emailed to you a week before the event (Saturday, November 13), so you can cook along with us, if you choose. You are more than welcome to watch without cooking, as well! We will also record the event so we can email the video to you after the event.
100% of the proceeds will go to our capital fund, which will be used to build the first LGBTQ community center in Northern Virginia.
